Thoughts on Steve Jobs, the future of Fashion
I feel like the people of the future who are going to be as innovative and technological as Steve Jobs was in our own recent past are going to look *REALLY* different in comparison to what he looks like. In a way, he almost actually looks sort of - and forgive me if it offends some of you -- but in certain clips, he and Bill Gates both, almost come off looking, quite frankly, as though they were *amish*. They have no piercings, no body mods, no tattoos, Steve Jobs actually wears a beard like an amish, their style of clothing (even if he wore a fancy suit, which he didnt) was very conservative, dry, plain etc.
I feel like , say, 1-200 years from now, when the future generations go back and watch about the big shot technological innovators of our time, these guys are just going to look bewildering to them, in the same way that DaVinci looks bewildering to us --- whilst at the same time seeming so far ahead of his own time period . I have a lot of ideas about the future of course, especially when it comes to fashion, and I think it's going to change not just alittle...BUT A LOT! The glasses are probably going to be the first thing that gets real ood, but I'm also beyond convinced that makeup is going tto quickly become the way for not just some men, but *all* men, especially especially public figures. To be honest, since I've had the idea, I already look at men and strat to think "jeez, they look so plain..."
A lot of people say for example that women are bound by society in terms of fashion. I think in the future people are going to start realizing that, though women are indeed bound, quite the opposite has also been true (and almost totally unnoticed) for quite a long time now. Men have gotten pretty screwed for a long time now in terms of fashion.... more or less forced to resort, by default, to an easily maintained short hair, no makeup, no frills, no jewels, no accessories style. This is, I assure y'all, going to change dramatically --- which is why people will look back at these old videos and just be perplexed....
"They look so plain!!"
