Bambina jumps down with a splash into the darkness of the sewers
She doesnt bother lighting the torch she keeps down here; better off just walking in pure darkness. She has scouted these sewers out a few times now. If she walks far enough, she can find an exit that comes up right near the #docks. Then maybe she can hide on one of the boats. Like the one she made love to Gared on
Bambina listens carefully in the sewers. She goes to rach for her gun -- but remembers she gave it to Sydney
Since sydney said "i promise i'll take the fall "
She wonders where Gared is. He gets drunk and passes out all over the city.
She climbs up a ladder, and pops open a manhole, peering her head out for a second, like a worm. She sees the #hunter-hospital-wing in the distance. She sees a few peple walking, a car driving by. She shuts the manhole, climbs back down
"F'n alex hoff."
"no one understands i came to Harrisburg trying to be nice for once in my rotten life. Alex hoff started that whole thing. Cause shes convinced her husband wants me. He probably does. How is it my fault?"
Bambina wonders about Sydney. She wasn't paying attenton. Got lost. How tragic.
She remembers a time long ago when her ex-boyfriend got chased by the cops; they shot the back of his leg out and he almost fell off the side of a cliff
"Sydney why didnt you pay attention"
Bambina nervously goes to take her cell phone out. Like a fool, though, she lets it slip out of her hand
It falls into the dark murky water of the sewers.
"Jesus no"
She can't be bothered to look for it. It wasn't waterproof anyways. She runs deeper into the sewers.
Bambina pulls out a little pocket knife she always has on her while she walks in the sewers. Very slowly she starts to cut a big gash along the side of her right arm. She winces at the pain but keeps going with it. The gash won't kill her. She just wants to remember the horro of this night.
