Sea shanty i wrote

I took that boy from his family,
I took that boy from his home,
I shot him in the leg with my pistol,
He died cold and alone

I drowned him in the ocean,
Drowned him in the sea
It was all such a long old time ago
In 1703,
1703

His father, he was a merchant
His mother, a whore like me
I'd kill them too, if i only could
but i dont knwo where they be
I hope they live in misery.

   Oh tarry sailor
   oh little tarry boy
hes resting in the cold blue deep
and it brings me such joy

he had him a little braelet
golden on his wrist
i took it from him and stole it
just like i took a kiss
a kiss

oh if that boy hadnt of wrongd me
he'd stil be alive
sailing on the sea somewhere far
with the strong men who survive
